D H L Jamaica Limited - Kingston

Paid for what I believe to be a door to door delivery. DHL Jamaica charging $7,000 for delivery! So a trip to the airport !
Sent package to receiver’s work address (just for convenience) DHL claiming it’s a commercial package - commercial fees apply (more money!)
Oh there’s a charge for name change (more money!)
You would think that’s the end of it. Nope!! They refused to release the package because they don’t know who sent it !
Surely they making this crap up as they go along. But you guessed it - there’s a fee to fix that as well.
Custom Duty payable - ok, but there’s also a fee for the value of the content!

I order a tablet from Amazon, when the tablet reach me the seal broken, the look old, not working, a dummy tablet dhl deliver to me and now I cant get to the delivery man nor dhl.

The workers dealing with packages to be delivered have appalling disgusting attitudes and don't know how to communicate to customers when they are the ones who have screwed up and made the mistake charging customs and brokerage fees for items that are under 40CAD NOT 40USD claiming that the person receiveling items internationally shipped must be paid by the customer receiving item locally, ontop of tell customer to go pick up the item out fro. customs at the airport after realizing that dhl was in the wrong..... What a disgrace to Jamaica and dhl... Should be closed or staff fired for addressing a customer like that especially when dhl was responsible for wrongly informing customers... Person should be fired for arguing with customer after dhl is wrong. NEVER RECOMMENDING OR USING DHL THIS IS A DISGRACE TO JAMAICA!!!

I went to DHL's Haining Rd, location to submit documents for a Visa renewal. The print out from the US Embassy's website indicated that DHL was the courier they use to receive and deliver packages. Upon arriving at DHL, the attitude of both the security guard and the DHL representative were appalling. Instead of calming informing me that DHL was no longer the drop off points for the documents, the DHL staff member was aggressive and unprofessional in his response to me. I will endeavour to never use DHL as my courier because of the service I received.
