• This position is a front line Customer job and represents the company image and promotes the brand of the company. The primary responsibility is to increase sales and represent the brand.

Responsibilities
GENERAL

• Follow all company policy and procedures
• Care for vehicle and keep it clean and tidy
• Abide by all road codes and/or report on them if broken
• Take care and secure expensive hand held devices
• Positively represent the brand
• Maintain a positive work attitude
• Maintaining Good deportment

SALES

• Completing all scheduled delivery of products
• Complete delivery route stop report
• Packing supermarket shelves and merchandising products
• Operate a handheld computer for delivery`
• Manage and meet Cash Sales targets
• Manage cash sales to minimize unsold products
• Account for inventory on a daily basis [Route Reconciliation]
• Develop good customer relationship
• Service some customers on the weekend to exhaust unsold product
• Exceed Sales targets
• Give feedback to regional manager on accurate quantities of products to pack
• shelves to ensure availability of product
• Provide feedback on strategies to improve sales on route
• Managing trays to ensure all trays are returned
• Participates in Marketing Ventures
• Provide feedback on competition
• Assist Sideperson if necessary.

CASH MANAGEMENT

• Timely Collection using statements
• Accurately record collections to include customer name, etc
• Prepare accurate daily lodgement

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This position requires extremely long hours, arriving to work early and leaving late some nights without overtime pay.
• Lifting of products can be heavy. Exposure to up to 30lbs of weight constantly being handled
• Exposure to variable weather and traffic conditions
• May be require to travel long distance every day
• Seated during travelling for long hours
• It will require being responsible for cash collected and being charged for shortages, which means that cash can be deducted from ones salary where they are unable to account for products or cash
• Carrying cash exposes persons to security threats
• Subject to changes in routes on short notice which may or may not be longer hours
• Financially responsible for expensive hand held devises if lost or damaged
• Full time working hours cannot be guaranteed in low seasons
