The Grade Three Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to standardized menu and recipes.

Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to production schedule, designated recipes and quality standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes Set-up and break down work station
- Prepare, maintain and monitor quality control for all food items
- Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of your work area and equipment
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to local and company regulations
- Test food items to determine if they are cooked to required standard
- Maintain inventory and food stock levels
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
- Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
- Act as an expeditor by ensuring that all orders are completed and the wait staff advised
- Any other duties assigned
