Question for Chancellor Insurance Agency Ltd

Goodnight. I currently have a purple shield plan for my mother however long ago she stated that doesn't want it anymore however I kept it still. We are not in contact and I have no way of knowing if and when she dies nor do I have any information for her. If I keep the policy until it expires how can I get the money or is my only option is to close it?
