Company description
The Port Authority of Jamaica is a government-sanctioned body set up under the Port Authority Act of 1972. It is the main maritime organisation responsible for managing and developing Jamaica's port and shipping industry. The Port Authority is accountable for the security of every vessel that enters the ports, as well as the regulation of tariffs imposed on items crossing public wharves.
