Taste of Jamaica Farm and Garden Tour - Ocho Rios

Taste of Jamaica Tours Limited is now offering a one-of-a-kind excursion that showcases Jamaica’s indigenous floral & fauna. Studies has shown that Jamaica hosts over 50% of the world’s medicinal herbs. Taste of Jamaica Tours is offering access to a garden that will display over 100 species of medicinal herbs, offering a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else on the island. Tour guides on property will enable our guests to learn about the medicinal benefits and uses of each plant. The garden is home to a wide variety of fruit and ornamental trees, flowers and shrubs. In addition, the garden hosts several animals such as goats, rabbits and native chickens. While on the tour, guests will also be introduced to coffee and will be taken on a coffee walk along with exposure to a farm area for locally produced ground provisions.
