Established in July 1985, by the late Maurice Berry, a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Jamaica, Mayberry initially concentrated on trading shares on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. However, significant investment opportunities soon emerged in Jamaica’s fixed income market and the Company participated actively in the development of this market, especially in Government of Jamaica Treasury Bills and Local Registered Stock.

Since then, Mayberry has been in the forefront of raising US dollar loan funding for the Government and for corporate entities.
