Key Deliverables & Performance Areas:
- Safe & Fun Guest Experiences: Ensure every guest has a safe and fun experience whilst on the amusement rides at Mystic Mountain.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures, check equipment regularly, and report any safety concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to ensure the safe operation of the amusement ride, supporting each other to achieve safety and efficiency goals, with efficiency measured by how many guests can safely enjoy the ride each hour.
- Attraction visitors: Ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience during their time at Mystic Mountain.
- Team members: Support and collaborate with fellow team members to maintain safe ride operations, ensuring everyone works together to achieve safety.
- Safely operate the assigned amusement ride, ensuring smooth and efficient ride cycles while always prioritizing guest safety
- Provide clear and thorough pre-ride safety briefings, explaining safety rules and ride guidelines to guests in a simple and easy-to-understand way
- Deliver excellent guest service, engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have to enhance their experience
- Assist guests with loading and unloading, ensuring safety restraints are properly secured before the ride begins, and providing help where needed to ensure safety and comfort
- Ensure the ride has been declared safe for operation before starting operations and check your assigned area and the ride surroundings to confirm they are safe for guests
- Continuously observe the ride during operation to ensure it is functioning safely, and immediately report any defects or unusual sounds to your supervisor
- Follow emergency procedures and act quickly during any incidents or ride issues to keep guests and staff safe
- Take part in safety drills and training programs to stay prepared for emergencies and know how to respond in any situation
- Work closely with your assigned team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ride, focusing on safety, hourly guest throughput, and supporting guest satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on safety procedures and improve your ability to work as part of a team to achieve operational and safety goals
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management to meet operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction
- Performance reviews will be based on key metrics such as hourly guest throughput, adherence to safety protocols, and guest satisfaction.
- Operators will be evaluated on their ability to ensure the safe operation of the ride while maintaining a positive and fun experience for all guests.
