Question for Australian Consulate

I am an Australian citizens with friends in Jamaica. I want to send them some vegetable seeds to grow some different varieties there & understand that I would need a permit to do this. I have emailed this query to the Jamaican Department of Agriculture but have had no response what so ever. Are you able to make enquiries on my behalf, please ?
