Job Purpose:
The incumbent has responsibility for gathering, reviewing, testing and utilizing data to inform key business decisions related to business development opportunities, asset acquisitions, divestitures, infrastructure needs solution and commercial support requirements. The Analyst is also responsible for conducting research to provide relevant insights to assist the Corporation in addressing key challenges to its products, processes and services required to support strategic growth.
The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
- A first degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Economics, Statistics, Operations Management, Finance or similar qualifications
- At least three (4) years’ experience as an analyst working in a strategic management, strategic planning or business development environment
- Expert knowledge of macroeconomic concepts and business management
- Expert knowledge of Business Modelling, financial analysis and data visualization
- Sound knowledge of planning cycles generally
- Sound knowledge of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development process
- Sound knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
- Demonstrable proficiency in the advanced use of the Microsoft Project or related project management software application
- Sound knowledge of other relevant computer applications, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

- Ability to use advance analytical tools to provide business intelligence
- Excellent people management skills – with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and model financial data
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms

- Outstanding planning and organizational skills
