As a Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, efficiency, and safety of water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
Role Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system requirements and layout.
· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, including pipes, valves, fittings, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and pumps.
· Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
· Cut, bend, and thread pipes using pipe cutters, pipe threading machines, and other tools as necessary.
· Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality and performance.
· Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed, including clearing clogged drains and sewer lines.
Role Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training is advantageous.
· Proven experience as a Plumber or a similar role, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and practices.
· Knowledge of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment, including pipe wrenches, soldering tools, pipe cutters, and augers.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Salary for this position is $25,200-$28,500 per annum plus an estimated service charge of $10,000.
