Accounts Receivables Officer
Job Presentation
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller, you are responsible for performing data entry and related duties in posting accounts receivable payments. This includes maintaining ledgers, and credit balances, and resolving account irregularities. This position involves diplomatic interaction with customers to provide billing information and support in order to facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization. 


Responsibilities
Financial Management
  • Financial monitoring and checking of contracts daily.
  • Post payments and reconcile client accounts in the Marketron System.
  • Prepare commission reports for the Payroll Officer.
  • Prepare journals for month-end closure (1st-5th of each month).
Contract Administration
  • Update manual talent reports.
  • Photocopy contracts with talent associations.
  • File canceled contracts.
Reporting and Record-Keeping
  • Update receipt book log.
  • Complete daily task sheets.
  • Process and prepare month-end reports for system closure.
  • Daily posting of control sheets to visual traffic.
Billing and Client Management
  • Prepare client billing on the 1st of each month.
Administrative Tasks
  • Stamping documentation as applicable
Audit and Compliance
  • Prepare audit schedules.
  • Compile required audit schedules and provide reconciled statements for annual financial statement audits.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Information Support
  • Provide timely and accurate Accounts Receivable information to Management.
Monthly Tasks:
  • System Closure Process and prepare all month-end reports to facilitate system closure by the 5th of each month.
  • Preparing Daily Task Sheets & Monthly Reports You are required to complete a daily task sheet as per the duties outlined in this document.
