  • The position of Office Assistant involves being a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, an upbeat attitude, and a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. The ideal Candidate must be able to assist management and be professional, polite, and attentive while being accurate. The Candidate should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly, and most importantly, have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. 


Responsibilities
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via telephone, e-mail, and social media platforms.
  • Handling office tasks, including filing and producing requested reports.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and bid documents.
  • Assist in monitoring the government of Jamaica’s procurement system (gojep) for current competitions.
  • Assist in updating, organizing, and maintaining the Trello platform.
  • Assist in maintaining the email system daily by transferring information to the Trello platform for example Customer Purchase Orders, Vendor Pricing, Quotation Requests et cetera.
  • Assist with logistics.
  • Prepare bank lodgments if necessary.
  • Update client financial status if necessary.
  • Any other duties assigned by management. 


Skills
Able to manage priorities and workflow
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
Able to work independently with minimal or no supervision
