The Bagger’s primary responsibility is to assist customers by packing their purchased items efficiently and carefully, ensuring that products are properly bagged for safe transportation. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Pack groceries into bags in a neat, efficient, and secure manner.
• Ensure that fragile items are handled with care and packed appropriately.
• Assist customers in carrying their bags to their vehicles when necessary.
• Ensure that the checkout area is clean and organized.
• Help with restocking shelves or organizing products during slower periods.
• Handle damaged or expired items as per store policies.
• Communicate with cashiers to ensure smooth checkout experiences for customers.
• Help customers locate items or answer general questions when needed.
• Monitor and manage the quality of packaging materials (e.g., bags, boxes).
• Adhere to store safety protocols, including lifting guidelines and sanitation practices.
