• A Sales Associate assists customers in selecting and purchasing products or services, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Their responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, providing product information, and recommending suitable options. They handle transactions, restock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized sales area, and meet sales targets. Sales Associates also address customer inquiries and resolve issues, contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty while supporting the overall goals of the business.

Responsibilities

• Provides information to customers and answers to their queries regarding the company’s products and services.
• Receives and processes quotation requests from customers. 
• Process point-of-sale, credit sales, and goods returned transactions.
• Conducts follow-up with potential/existing customers to encourage the purchasing of the company’s products and services.
• Contacts customers to enquire about their current and future needs for products and services.
• Assists with display and selling floor presentations.
• Maintains stock levels for items in the selling area at appropriate levels to reduce waiting time for deliveries to in-house customers.
• Resolves service and product issues with customers.
• Assist with the checking of invoices and goods being delivered to ensure accuracy with goods leaving the company.
• Works during sale expos, conferences, and any other event required by the company to promote and sell its product and services.
